Through personal training and nutritional counseling, I work with clients to better understand both the psychological and biological reasons for their current state. "I began my weight loss a few years ago in a city-wide weight loss challenge to take control and loose the weight once and for all. With a 90lb weight loss, I and ended up loosing the most weight in the group. Kristin was not my trainer for the initial weight loss. I started my journey with another trainer who also inspired and pushed me. However, after achieving such goals, I still felt limited. I had a chance to first work with Kristin when my trainer went on vacation. She ended up inspiring me in a completely different way, challenging me to try things I didn’t think I could ever do. Kristin pushed me to see what I was really capable of. I did continue to loose more weight, with a grand total of 140lbs. She explained "diet" to me in more scientific terms. I had been given the same guidance before, but the way she teaches it made it finally make sense. I "get it" now, and I no longer have my prior limitations. I was still stuck in the mind-set of the woman who had just began her journey when I couldn’t walk up the stairs, support my own body weight, or even ride a roller-coaster!… Kristin made me re-challenge myself. Guess what? I even started working at the gym. I’m now a certified Group Fitness Instructor and teach 4 classes a week (Including Cycling).
